  Account Manager

Reporting solid line to the LAR NATS Manager – based in Brazil, the appointed candidate will develop and execute the Account and sales Plans for our Network Assurance Business in Brazil. The candidate will be directly responsible for sales of Agilent’s Network Assurance Solutions to major accounts at telecom market.

Priorities:

- Be directly responsible for qualifying and closing Network Assurance Solutions sales deals at Service Providers in Brazil

- Develop and execute Strategic Account Plan for his territory. The purpose of this account plan is to build account relationships at all relevant levels to identify and close sales opportunities for Agilent’s Telecom solution portfolio.
- Manage Agilent resources in a virtual team to assure Agilent is meeting or exceeding customer expectations in Solution Delivery and Support.

In summary, the appointed candidate will lead activities in the Country for providing innovative end-to-end network assurance solutions for the Service Providers in Brazil. Without loosing sight of the importance of assurance solutions for traditional circuit switched networks, the primary focus will be upon next generation network (incl. 3G+, IP-Convergence, LTE) technologies. The appointed candidate will build upon existing Agilent key account relationships and develop effective business relationships with executive level stakeholders across target accounts.

Key Accountabilities:

- Manage identified sales opportunities towards order closure within agreed resource allocations and timeframes. Meet quarterly sales forecasts.
- Deliver orders against set targets quarter after quarter for Network Assurance systems in Brazil.
- Create, agree and deliver a ‘winning’ account strategy that generates profitable order and sales revenue growth for Network Assurance products and services with the country target sites.
- Manage customer satisfaction with Agilent Solution Delivery and Support by leading quarterly Operational Account reviews with all account stakeholders

- Understands the full eco-system around the account – key customers and suppliers
- Has a excellent track record with key accounts Senior Management through prior engagements in the industry
- Excellence in Customer focus:
- Understands the Agilent value propositions across all business areas (portfolio) and is able to present at Exec/Senior customer level
- Personally engaged at Executive levels in the account including regular FTF meetings. Has an active relationship plan.
- Pro-actively seeks out new relationships at Executive/Senior management level to promote Agilent’s business propositions
- Drives customer satisfaction across the account team. Pro-actively addresses customer issues and seeks out ways to improve the business environment for customers

Qualifications:
The appointed candidate will demonstrate:

- Minimum 8 years of experience effectively leading selling system solutions to ‘Telecom Service Providers’, preferably in the area of Next Generation Wireless or Wireline Network Technology.
- An intimate understanding of market trends and developments, pertaining to ‘network service assurance’ relating particularly to next generation - IP-Convergence and wireless technologies. The appointed candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have effectively translated this knowledge into the creation and execution of effective sales/key account business plans that have driven profitable growth.
- Excellent commercial, business and financial (budget management experience) acumen. Exceptional account plan execution experience. A ‘drive for results’, ‘passion for getting things done’ and ‘refuses to lose’ attitude.
- Exceptional internal and external stakeholder construction and relationship management skills.
- A track record of business effectiveness. He/she will demonstrate how they have successfully managed account teams of business professionals to develop effective commercial key account relationships that have driven order and revenue growth.
- Personal qualities will include the highest levels of professional integrity, resolve, determination and results focus. Exceptional relationship building, communication, influencing and negotiating skills. A challenging and positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- An excellent level of academic attainment, e.g. a BSc in Electronics, ideally supported by a business administration qualification.
- Large technical knowledge of current and emerging Telecom technologies. Capable of presenting the value of Agilent Service Assurance solution across customer from technical staff up to top managers.
